At Automation Design Group, we are dedicated to designing, installing, and maintaining automation systems that meet the high demands of our clients.  We offer a variety of services, and are capable of aiding in any stage of any project.  From custom homes to large resorts, we provide the services that make automation integration simple.

Step 1. Consultation

The most important step in designing an automation system is the time spent together during the initial consultation phase.  It is during this time that the scope of the project, system requirements, and budget can be discussed and explored.  Our expertise allows us to educate your team on the latest advancements and innovations that are applicable for you project.  We can help identify which equipment works well together, as well as aid in specifying reasonable budget expectations.

The information that we gather will help us in the following step of designing a system that meets all your expectations and requirements.  Consultations are a wonderful environment to ask questions and receive answers.

Step 2. System Design

The information that we gather during our initial consultation meetings allow us to design the appropriate system that will not only match all your system requirements and needs, but your budget as well.  Whether we are designing a fully automated lighting system, commercial auditorium, video distribution in a restaurant, or a simple home theater, our designs will help you capture the vision of the final project outcome.  In system design we will identify each electronic component that will be used, as well as determine the correct user interface to make control and operation an enjoyable experience.  Our designers will add additional documentation and symbols to your existing project blueprints to make integration of our approved system design smooth and simple.

Step 3. Project Management

We understand that construction can be stressful.  The complexities and requirements of professionally designed automation systems are sometimes difficult and foreign to most.  Unfortunately, this leads to key components of the system being overlooked in the construction process causing future delays and expensive fixes.  Our team knows how the system is designed, and is knowledgeable of construction codes and requirements.  We are the best fit to oversee the project at each phase, especially during construction.  Our team will make recurring visits to the job site to ensure that the proper wires and components are installed in their appropriate places.  We can eliminate any errors that we foresee as problems in the future saving time and money.

Step 4. Installation and Product Sourcing

As authorized dealers of several electronic manufactures, we have the channels and relationships needed to provide and source all the parts and equipment needed for the systems that we design.  We can help in providing all the required pieces and parts at a competitive price.  From televisions, to speakers, to remotes, and even lighting and blinds, we can deliver product to job sites throughout the country.

Once products have been purchased and supplied, we can also complete the installation, following the plans that have been pre-approved.  All of the installations will follow the plans to exactness.  If any changes need to be made, they will be recorded and documented for mutual transparency.

Step 5. Programming

In addition to the original consultation, programming is vital to the use and operation of any system.  It is a valid argument to say that an automation system and its functionality are only as good as its programmer.  Experienced programmers are able to produce enjoyable user experiences when systems are used.

We pride ourselves in being some of the most experienced programmers for the systems that we install.  We will create a simple interface using new technology that will allow our clients to use every aspect of their system with confidence.

Step 6. Management and Maintenance

It is important to remember that all automation systems need proper maintenance and management services.  Technology is adapting and changes on a daily basis and is it important that each automation system is updated and working to its best ability.

After installation, programming, and training, we work with the end user to create a pattern of steady repeated maintenance.  We will visit on a regular basis to ensure that all aspects of the system are functional and working.  This involves checking everything from each individual button to each individual cable connection.  Our goal is that the systems we service work 100% of the time.

Step 7. System Documentation

For larger project, system documentation is mandatory.  Our documentation details the locations of every piece of equipment and every wire that exists on the property.  These details allow from service calls, upgrades, and maintenance to be properly and efficiently rendered.  Multiple copies of the system documentation can be provided so that property owners, management, and service providers understand the basic structure, components, and connections that are made and used in each automation system.
